Everything is clearer in hindsight but people just don't realise how absolutely blistering things were moving. For every month just pick the 2 "hot" projects then just track them over the two years even. See what happened to them.

Don't get me wrong, some people made money or achieved their goals. Yet alot of people went through in no particular order:

• The China crypto ban
• Stablecoin collapse
• Ghana nano tech wind turbines
• Worlds richest man toy with crypto holders
• Timeline delays or false promises
• Surprise regulations
• Just an extreme amount of scams
• Just an extreme amount of bankruptcies in CeFi
• Being part of a bankruptcy case, i.e Celsius
• Major players disappearing overnight
• Developers turning on each other
• Hacks and more hacks, and a pump and dump or three
• Lost crypto
• Onerous tax filings
• Massive marketing spends ruining a project
• Influencers
• Random price trend predications

I'm sure a few fellow veterans of those years can chime in with their most memorable experiences?

Really made for an interesting two years, as just pure variety of good and bad news that came up on a weekly basis that shaped the entire space is hard to convey.

So before taking the plunge, it is worth delving into the past as I'm sure 2023-2024 will be just as unpredictable.
