If Binance were to die would crypto held in TrustWallet also go bye-bye?

So I know people have varying opinions about whether this is bad times for binance - “they’re gunna pull through don’t panic” vs “omg this ship is sinking I’m getting tf out”. I have some crypto held on the binance exchange, not much, but still not an amount I’d want to lose. I also have some crypto held in my TrustWallet app. I understand binance are the guys behind TrustWallet.. I’m thinking I want to transfer my BTC and ETH across to TrustWallet, probs pegged to avoid fees.. but is that pretty much the same as leaving it on binance at this point? As my title reads, if binance is fucked, is TrustWallet and any crypto held in there also fucked?
