If 99% of shitcoins go to zero, then what's stopping me from shorting every shitcoin in existence?

I'm already shorting a Top 1000 meme coin because based on my masterfully artistic TA skills, I determined that this particular meme coin will only drop and has practically no hope of breaking out before I see decent gains. Excuse my degenerate dumbass, but I can't lose more than what I already have. Why can't I short random meme coins after the initial hype/rug-pull and watch them slowly fall off the face of the earth as the money starts rolling in, rinse-and-repeat? I don't see anyone else doing this so my math doesnt seem to be mathing. I vaguely feel like I've heard of this topic somewhere before now that I'm thinking about it
