Actually, I get its point, but what's the need? You put dust on addresses A, B and C. Say they are all under the same wallet owner. If owner spends, wallet will pull dust from all A, B and C into a single co-spend transaction. So from there you get to see that addresses A, B and C have the same owner.
Well, the wallet can pull any other UTXOs. And for that matter, since you're looking at addresses A, B, and C already, why can't you just watch the UTXOs already in there? Why the need for dust? Am I missing anything?
