I consider myself a bitcoiner and sometimes I wonder how many bitcoiners are out there. Are we pretty alone?
I would define a bitcoiner:
- Buy bitcoin as a superior money technology or path to freedom or censorship resistant technology versus speculation.
- Invest meaningful amount of one's net worth in it and I think 5% is meaningful.
- Run a node to contribute to network
- Don't plan to sell
- Self custody bitcoin
