How to use crypto assets in Italy

Hey, I am from Mexico and I started studying in Italy so I am going to rent an apartment. Landlord wants money transferred to his account, no cash, processes to send money from a bank in Mexico to italy are quite a headache and costly. I was thinking sendin me crypto to a wallet here in Italy if there was a way to download an app and take money here in Italy? A good one? And then transfer it to a bank, which one? Are there regulations i need to evade (like moeny limit)? Any information would be helpful, it is really a pain in the ass all the international restrictions.
