Not sure if this has been discussed before, but how many BTC are currently available that aren’t owned by State, Country or Institution?
Looking for some basic assumptions to get to the total amount remaining and ultimately what it means to own a piece of that remainder.

That leaves 15.4 million BTC remaining for the world.
So imagine if there’s more adoption across countries and institutions and what that’ll mean for holding just 1 BTC, or even .1 BTC
ChatGPT says it’s estimated that 10-20% of global retail investors own gold in some investment form (physical or etf), so if that holds true with Bitcoin, then retail would only hold between 1.7 and 3.4 million bitcoin globally from the total 17 million available.
It’s really eye opening at how important it is to accumulate as much as possible right now.
