How does one DYOR(idk if this is the correct flair)

I'm new to crypto, so I take any input I can get. I see on several platforms that there are ai crypto currencies that will leave the profits made by, the likes of, bitcoin and Nvidia in the dust.

But they never name it and say that to obtain its name, you'll have to buy our membership or some other kind of transaction. Now I don't wanna pay these people because it feels like a scam, but many of these platforms say the same thing, so I think there must be some truth in it...

I've asked people online that have the memberships but all they say is that it isn't worth it and you should do your own research. This begs the question: how?
