How Do We Know the ETF Approval is a Good Thing for Bitcoin?

With the possibility of a Bitcoin ETF approval approaching, I see alot of posts celebrating the idea of mainstream adoption and increased accessibility to Bitcoin. However, I can't help but wonder about the potential downsides.

One concern that's been on my mind is the ability to short Bitcoin through an ETF. Shorting can lead to significant price volatility, as we've seen with stocks on the receiving end of continuous abuse.

The question is, will the ability to short Bitcoin through an ETF lead to price manipulation?

Could it potentially drive the price down, creating a scenario where Bitcoin becomes more vulnerable to market forces?

I'm not suggesting that Bitcoin ETFs are bad, but it's worth considering the broader implications.

Does anyone see potential risks in ETF approval, or do you think it's a positive step towards wider adoption?
