I’m O’Brien, a community manager for Exodus. In May, we launched our Web3 Wallet for Chromium browsers. We started with Solana, added support for Ethereum in June, and now, we are happy to announce that it supports Algorand!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I connect to dApps that don’t show Exodus as a wallet option?

We are still contacting and working with ALGO dApps to get them to list Exodus. If you’d like to use one such dApp that doesn’t list us yet, ensure that “Prioritize Exodus” is enabled in the extension’s settings, and select AlgoSigner from the dApp’s wallet list. If you find a dApp that hasn't listed us yet, let me know, and I'll pass it along to our team.

The Web3 Wallet supports in-wallet swaps for SOL and ETH tokens. Is this supported for ALGO tokens?

That feature is ExoDEX, our built-in token swap. It does currently support SOL and ETH tokens, but not ALGO tokens. Supporting ALGO token swaps is being explored by our development team, but in the meantime, we recommend using Tinyman to swap ALGO tokens.

We at Exodus are very appreciative of the love and support that the Algorand community has given us. This wallet is a labor of love that is the result of blood, sweat, tears, and an absolutely insane amount of testing to perfect the Web3 experience. It’s been a joy seeing it come together over the last several months, from our first buggy internal build to the polished state it’s in today. Now, I’m thrilled to present it to you all.
