I'm a small miner (2 graphics cards) and I use Ethermine for mining. I've been mining for about a year but I usually don't pay much attention to it or cryptocurrency in general but I try to understand as much of it as I can. However, a few months ago, Ethermine decided to switch from Mainnet to Mantic (correct me if I'm wrong) so it'd be cheaper for them to make transfers and also make small amount transfers. I never switched so I'd wait for gas price to be down and the money would be deposited directly to my ETH Mainnet wallet but with the high gas prices, I was basically unable to transfer that money because it'd take 20% - 40% of the total value, because I'd have to make not only that first jump from Ethermine but also a second jump to an exchange service in my country (not US btw) and the exchange service, has a contract address so that will be costly.
I've heard that is possible to transfer ETH from Mantic to USDC and then cash out, however, I don't know how feasible is this due to the difference in networks and I'd appreciate it if someone can give me an insight on this and If it's possible or cheaper, I'd love that very much.
These are the supported coins from the exchange service that I use.
- ETH: ETH (ERC20)
- USDC: ERC20
- βΏTC: BTC (Legacy y Segwit)
- ΙCH: BCH
- ΕTC: Legacy
