I’ve been in Crypto for about a year now. Every week I see multiple posts about how someone got their wallet hacked and lost all their funds.
I’m pretty cautious myself but still would like to understand how people get hacked; ie the types of methods hackers use to get into others wallets so I can take preventive measures.
Some people straight up give their wallet seeds out which makes sense why they got hacked, but I’ve seen posts where the OP is adamant that they did not. So I’m hoping to create this thread to go over hacking methods to watch out for.
One method I’m unsure of: if I go to a web3 site and accept the site to access my wallet, can that site later remove my funds from my wallet if the devs decided to go rogue?
Hopefully this type of post is allowed. I’m not trying to encourage anything bad here, I’m hoping to create a list of things to watch out for to protect our funds.
