I read this all the time, but it is for me personally still incredible to think about it and validate the current state of fiat currencies compared to bitcoin:
Just checked the current USD inflation rate, which is around 6.4%.
So when we assume that this can be an average value in the next years, the half-life would be around 11 years, right? So any dollars in your pockets/bank accounts will lose half of its value in 11 years.
There are around 90% of bitcoins already mined and the inflation rate will dip with every halving. So technically there is no half-life for Bitcoin (anymore)? Or is it infinite now?
Anyway TLDR: Bitcoin is the best value store on earth. Thank you for reading and have a nice weekend!
