Governments destroy the value of money but banks destroy the utility of money.

Imagine if the bitcoin blockchain imposed a monthly fee just for holding bitcoin.

Imagine if the bitcoin blockchain purposfully slowed your transactions down so small transactions took 3 days to confirm and large transactions took 2 weeks to confirm (for your protection of course).

Imagine if the bitcoin blockchain made you submit a picture of your passport, show proof of address, and recite a stupid OTP pass code just to be able to use your own money.

Imagine if the bitcoin blockchain blocked large transactions entirely just because they were large.

Imagine if bitcoins blockchain did all of these things. It would make bitcoin horrible money for the age of the internet and completely kill its utility.

This demonstrates how banks destory the utility of money by making the user experience purposfully slow and annoying.

Banks simply being banks are going to cause global adoption of bitcoin because banks are such a horrible experience to use.
