As a node noob I'm trying to figure out exactly how safe/unsafe it is to run a node in certain configs. I've setup a full node on windows and have connected sparrow to it and use a hardware wallet.
With this setup I've heard a lot of people recommend using electris instead and tunnel the node through tor. So my question is how necessary is this actually? And what is the risk of my current setup?
