For those that are lurking

This one goes out to all those who are hidden in the shadows . The lurkers.

I used to be just like you. I lurked on this sub for two months before taking the first step towards contributing. This subreddit was my place to read up on the happenings in the crypto world.

In those two months I saw post talking about vaults & moons, and my initial thought was "why the hell would I get involved with that". Then I learned the principal behind it. That those moons everyone kept talking about have actual monetary value as a crypto currency.

After learning that, I had my vault open in under an hour, and began shitposting like you wouldn't believe, just so I could get some moons and rake in the cash.

At least in the beginning, that's what it was all about. The cash.

However, as the weeks went on I noticed something interesting. My shitposting remained rampant, but slowly some legitimate responses and advice starting working their way into my content. Somewhere along the way, I had actually learned useful information and could now participate in discussions. I became knowledgeable on information that I never retained as a lurker.

That being said, 90% off my content is still shitposts, but through the posts, my crypto knowledge has skyrocketed.

So my advice to all those reading this from the shadows. Come on out. Open your vault. Join the community and expand your Crypto knowledge. As a plus, you can even make some money along the way.

TL;DR: knowledge can be gained by actively commenting and posting in the community. Even if its just rampant shitposts ;)
