With the debacle over trusting centralized exchanges happening I figured it was a good time to reanalyze what exchanges I feel like I can trust and what exchanges I should steer clear of. Yes, it’s clear everyone should keep their crypto on a cold storage wallet, but let’s face it, if we want to buy or sell coins we are going to have to rely on a crypto exchange to do that. So the question is who can we trust? I’ve always felt like I can trust coinbase and Gemini because they are some of the big dogs, have been around in the space the longest, and coinbase is a publicly traded company. But recently with SBF’s bailouts of lending platforms, his massive donations it really seems like he’s flexing and I’m wondering now if FTX and FTX.US are becoming the most trustworthy exchanges.
Not to mention the battle of the super bowl ads. FTX had the clear winner with their hilarious Larry David ad.
But I wanted to ask y’all, “not your keys, not your crypto” aside. Who do you trust to buy and sell through? Can we trust anyone anymore?
