Ethereum sent was not received!

I have an urgent issue. I am supposed to receive 8 ETH in my Trust Wallet, but the 8 ETH is not showing up in my wallet. The transaction has already been made; I just can't seem to receive it.

A customer who purchased my artworks sent me 8 ETH yesterday, and until now, I haven't received it, and the reason seems to be related to the gas fee.

I reached out to Trust Wallet support, and they replied that I should pay a gas fee of 0.3 ETH to someone to create an OTP. I'm supposed to deposit these 0.3 ETH into a wallet they provided, and I won't receive my 8 ETH until I send this money to them, which amounts to around $700.

The problem is, I don't have $700. $700 is much more than the average full salary in my country, so it's impossible for me to pay unless I take out a loan.

I contacted the support robot that uses ChatGPT, and it told me to wait for 18 hours to be able to receive the 8 ETH. It has been over 20 hours, and I still haven't received anything.

I asked ChatGPT and some friends what to do, and they all told me it's very strange for the receiver to have to pay the fee because usually, it's the sender who pays. Therefore, I might be falling victim to a scam.

I've already spoken with Trust Wallet support twice, and they insist that the staff will only release the payment once I transfer the money to their wallet.

I just don't know what to do. Can someone help me?
