Ethereum or Bitcoin?

I’ve owned Ethereum exclusively since late 2017. I bought then and have never sold. It been a wild ride. I’ve not done the calculations but I’m pretty sure I’d have done much better had I bought Btc instead. I went with Eth because I was intrigued by the utility of it compared to Btc, smart contracts, defi, etc. I’ve come to the conclusion that a lot, if not all, of it was hype. But still I hold (or hodl) as the cognoscenti would say. My holdings are up about six fold since late 2017. I’m interested in other’s perspective on this and where people think it’s going individually and compared to Btc.
