The markets were already down yesterday, everywhere! Why did he decide to make his announcement on top of a semi big financial market decline? .... because he knows that the next day the media will say the market crashed because of him. IT DIDN'T !!! ... it was already pulling back a lot ... he just helped a little bit.

Why is this a chess move? ... We can already see he is manipulating the market, but what he is also trying to do is, Thanos the crypto market. He is trying to use the media to add equity and power to his voice in the crypto space, so he can manipulate the market even more! .... he isn't dumb ... now the world thinks that Elon has the power to change the direction of the market and cause uncertainty.
