El Salvador's Ministry of Education is on a mission to introduce Bitcoin education across all schools by 2024. They're starting this journey on the second anniversary of El Salvador's Bitcoin Law, with the support of My First Bitcoin and Bitcoin Beach.
The plan: they're going to train 150 teachers from public schools in Bitcoin, and these teachers will then pass on their knowledge to students everywhere. My First Bitcoin, a nonprofit based in El Salvador, is taking the lead. They're not just teaching Bitcoin; they aim to make El Salvador a leader in cryptocurrency.
My First Bitcoin has already educated over 25,000 students in person and offers a 10-week Bitcoin Diploma program online. The Ministry of Education liked it so much that they're using it as the basis for the teacher training.
This initiative isn't just about Bitcoin; it's a collaborative effort. My First Bitcoin, Bitcoin Beach, The Bitcoin Office, and Cubo+ are working together to make Bitcoin education accessible to everyone in El Salvador and beyond, spreading cryptocurrency knowledge.
This is truly great for the crypto space and hopefully this approach will become more widespread all around the world. We need better crypto education.
