to be able to act independently of its creators, AI will certainly need money. bribes to some roboticist to give it access to real-world agents or simply payoffs to mercenaries.

cash or bank accounts will not, at least at the early stages, work and certainly not if it wants to act in secret. once it has the ability to interact in the real world, the terminator franchise starts to look pretty plausible.

but the good part is that BTC will go up suddenly and many fold -- it does not care about making money, that is something AI is already really talented at.
