While using the Binance API, I noticed that the isolated margin changes each time I request the current open positions.
But when subscribing to the User Stream Data, I do not receive isolated margin updates.
So in order for a bot to correctly calculate the current margin risk level, I need to query the positions repeatedly. This is discouraged by the API documentation though. As a developer I am asked to use the ACCOUNT_UPDATE events. But in order to reliably use these events, I would need to recalculate the isolated margin within my program. Does anyone know the exact algorithm behind the isolated margin? Because it does seem to be affected by the price action. But I couldn't figure out on my own on what exact parameters it depends.
