Detailled Guide: Adding to Metamask, Swapping On Sushi & Bridging to L1

Here is a guide on how to go from Moons on Nova to Ether on the Native Chain. *Disclaimer: There are more ways to do this

Moons have a great potential. My personally believe that $1 is easily feasible, giving it a 100 million market cap. If advertisements keep providing a steady burn, then I can imagine we could even go to $5 long term. That being said, I judge no one wanting to sell Moons right now. Especially when you’re low on finances. But swapping Moons is actually quite a hard process so I wanted to give you guys a 101 on how to sell Moons in 3 steps.

Step 1: Connect you Adres to Metamask.

1. Download an open Metamask -> Log in with your 12 words (Found in your Reddit Vault)

2. Go to networks -> Add Network -> Add Network Manually

1. You now need to fill out the Network details, luckily for you I’ve collected them

- Network name: Arbitrum Nova

- RPC URL: https://nova.arbitrum.io/rpc

- Chain ID: 42170 - Currency: ETH

- Explorer: https://nova-explorer.arbiscan.io 4.Now

you are connected to the Artbitrum Nova network, yet you don’t see the Moon token! We have to manually import the token -> Go to Import Token and fill out the information provided here:

- Token Contract Adres: 0x0057ac2d777797d31cd3f8f13bf5e927571d6ad0

- Currency Symbol: Moon

- Decimals: You do you, I did 18! Result: You have imported your Vault to MetaMask showing your precious Moons!

Step 2: Swap on SushiSwap

1. MetaMask has a build In browser -> Go to SushiSwap -> Swap

2. Swap Moons for WETH. Why WETH and not ETH? We later want to unwrap wrapped ETH for normal ETH on the native Blockchain

3. TIP: you need gas fees of around 0.004 (7$-8$) for the next step. I recommend you swap around 10$ of Moons to normal Ethereum for gas fees!

4. If you go back you Metamask you see your Ethereum and Wrapped Ethereum.

Step 3: Bridge your WETH from Arbitrum Nova to native Ethereum chain.

1. Go via the extension from MetaMask to: bridge.artbitrum.io

2. Enter:

From: Arbitrum Nova Currency

Wrapped Ether To: Mainnet

1. Sign the transaction. You can even fill out a different address (For example your Ledger)

2. Bridging back takes 8 days, so sit wait and relax! After 8 days you need to pay L1 fees again and you now have Ethereum on the main net. (I know, 8 days is super long... But it is what it is...)
