<p>Cryptocurrency exchange, Bitget announced on Wednesday the extension of its big-ticket <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/tag/sports-sponsorship/" target="_blank">sports sponsorship </a>deal with the Italian football club, Juventus for another year. Originally, <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/news/juventus-inks-deal-with-bitget-as-its-first-ever-sleeve-sponsor/" target="_blank">inked last September</a>, the crypto company will continue to sponsor the football club in the 2022-23 playing season.</p><p>With the extension, the branding of the crypto exchange will continue to appear on the sleeves of the jersey of the Juventus team.</p><p>“We are honoured to be the Official Sleeve Partner for Juventus for the second year,” said Gracy Chen, the Managing Director of Bitget.</p><p>“It has been a nice and rewarding journey to partner with them, helping Bitget better engage in the sports space. We appreciate the impressive reputation and vast popularity of Juventus and believe those virtues will continue to help Bitget reach wider audiences and share its vision for the rest of the world.”</p><p>Sports Sponsorships Increasing Visibility of Crypto Brands</p><p>Indeed, Juventus is one of the largest football clubs in Italy. The matches of the team grab the eyeballs of millions of sports fans across the globe. Additionally, the crypto exchange acknowledged that the partnership with the sports team lead to '<a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/executives/interview/why-are-crypto-brands-investing-in-sports-sponsorship/" target="_blank">considerable visibility</a>' of its brands, which might have been the key instigator for the extension of the deal.</p><p>“Our partnership with Bitget has been undoubtedly successful,” Giorgio Ricci, the Chief Revenue Office of Juventus, added.</p><p>“Bitget have confirmed once again their commitment to be close to the team, by featuring on the club's left sleeve, next to the hearts of Juventus players and fans. We are thrilled to extend our partnership with this innovative partner, who will accompany us match by match throughout the season.”</p><p>Bitget’s endeavor on the sports field did not stop with the Juventus partnership last year, as it inked a sponsorship deal with the Turkish football club, <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/news/crypto-exchanges-bitget-becomes-sponsor-of-galatasaray/" target="_blank">Galatasaray</a>. That deal was set for the 2021-2022 play season with no confirmation of an extension yet.</p>
