Crypto Currency Service I'm willing to pay for

As someone who been in crypto, I have a question, is there any crypto, that can help us reduce costs for computers. By thus I mean cloud gaming, such as GeForce NOW costs about $15/m just to get accses to 1080p gaming, wouldn't this be an amazing opportunity for people to create a protocol in which you can pay on demand (hourly) and if so, has anything like what I am describing been made yet? Aside from this specific example has their been crypto for these type of use cases to lower costs for entertainment? I think it would be great to see these decentralized networks, maybe a movie renting system, in which a specific person has a movie file (obtained legally) and they allow you to use it and pay for it until you give it back.
