Good morning. When I first made my wallet, I was under the impression that there was no sense in reusing an address; if HD wallets can tie them together under a single seed, why increase transparency by using just one, right?
Now it seems to me this isn't the consensus. BlueWallet has the watch mode feature where you can track the balance of an address, and looking at Blockchain explorer, I see there are all those top addresses with thousands of coins and transactions on them.
I am new to this, and I am now second-guessing my strategy of new address every time. Will it be a headache in the future to manage all these addresses (am I relying too heavily on the wallet software)? Is the transparency of a single address not really a big deal? What do you think?
