Coinbase paid off my loan?

I work as an independent contractor and last year, in order to pay the IRS what I owed on my taxes I took out a loan from Coinbase using BTC as collateral. This was in the middle of the bull run last year so I was optimistic that I could use gains from trading to pay the loan and interest.

Needless to say, things didn't go as plan. I made small payments toward the loan but more than once I lapsed on payments so Coinbase used my collateral to pay off the interest. Recently, after reviewing my financial situation I decided to get serious about making payments on time, and with the current market situation I really didn't want to let Coinbase sell my now underwater BTC to cover the cost of the interest. I have been making payments on time and made a little bit of progress paying off the principal, but I still had several thousand dollars due.

Earlier tonight I checked my email and saw that Coinbase sent me an email congratulating me on paying off the loan. Even though there were several thousand dollars I still owe. I checked my account and see that Coinbase returned the BTC it was holding as collateral and that my loan is fully paid off. When I made a payment earlier in the month there was still a considerable amount of principal I was on the hook for, but tonight my slate is wiped clean. I didn't set up automatic payments, make additional payments, or anything else to get it down, so it seems like Coinbase paid it off themselves?

I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen, and also what I should do next. I'd like to take it as a gift but I don't want to end up in trouble for some clerical error or computer mistake. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do next?

TLDR: I took out a collaterized loan from Coinbase and I was making payments but not enough to pay the full loan in time. I still had several thousand dollars owed on the loan, but tonight I got an email stating that the loan was paid off and my collateral was returned to me.
