Charlie Munger Says Bitcoin is "Evil" Because it Challenges the Federal Reserve System lol

So over the years Warren Buffet has been open about his lack of interest and what some might even call hostility towards Bitcoin. A lot of Bitcoiners get upset about this, but I think this says more about Warren Buffet than it says about Bitcoin itself. Warren Buffet is an old rich guy who admittedly says he doesn't invest in things he doesn't understand, and he doesn't understand Bitcoin. It's also no secret that he doesn't invest in Gold and he doesn't like "unproductive" investments, and while you can stake or lend Bitcoin for profit, Buffet doesn't consider it a productive investment. More importantly however Warren Buffet is not only rich, he's a rich guy who's done well under the current system. Bitcoin is something that disrupts the current system, why would Buffet want to disrupt something that has served him well for decades and continues to serve him well, the answer is he doesn't want something disruptive, and as far as him being rich, he's not the little guy who's willing to take a risk or needs a leg up, he's already rich so he's not going to get into a speculative volatile investment, he's going to continue investing in Coca Cola and Kraft and whatever other stable consumer staples he invests in.

Now Charlie Munger's comments about Bitcoin were in my opinion more hostile, he actually calls Bitcoin evil, and the funniest part, his reason for stating that Bitcoin is evil is because it "disrupts the Federal Reserve System" which is funny to me as I, and I imagine most of you view the the Federal Reserve System itself as evil. Munger also seems to praise China's authoritarian methods of clamping down on new technologies that bring freedom to the masses.

While Buffet's comments always seem to cause waves in the crypto space, as he's always against Bitcoin, the reality is that his opinion doesn't mean anything nor should it matter to you. You and Buffet are at different stages of your lives, have different levels of wealth, and have different goals for your financial life and wellbeing.
