Can't connect Sparrow wallet to pruned node

I recently downloaded Sparrow wallet and Bitcoin core. I'm running a pruned node since I'm using a laptop that doesn't have enough space for the entire blockchain history. I initially couldn't connect my node to Sparrow wallet so I inserted two lines in the config file:

server=1

txindex=1

Inserting those two lines seemed to fix the problem. I successfully connected Sparrow wallet to my pruned node for a few days, but now when I try to open Bitcoin core it says something like "Index is not compatible with pruned mode" and automatically closes the program. I can't even get into the config file to remove the lines. Has anyone else had this problem? What should I do?
