So I got completely orange pilled in 2019 and started buying. I've made several major attempts to talk to my grown adult children about BTC, but they just don't get it. They trust me enough that they have each put in anywhere from around $400 to about $1,000. I started trying to make them understand what this thing is when BTC was less than $5K. I've sat here and watched them miss the entire run up over the last five years and even when I revisit it I just can't get any traction with any of them.
I came from and still am pretty much nothing. I'm the only person in my family to have even managed to get a mortgage. Since 2019 I've been able to get pretty close to $10K in and am just shy of .9 at this point.
TL;DR: Can I save my ignorant family with what I'm doing? Will it be enough to get to my grandchildren who are just 12 and have neither the understanding nor the means to take advantage of the current window?
I know there are sooo many people who have a whole coin or more. I just wonder what the perspective is. Like did I do good? Have I possibly done better than I realize? I have literally zero BTC peers to discuss anything with and just stumbled upon this sub this afternoon and thought I'd see if I could get a little input on my entirely missing perspective (as I have nothing to compare my current status with/to).
