Can Someone Please Explain "XRP Riddlers" To Me???

All Cryptocurrencies

I tried posting this in r/Ripple but it keeps getting automatically deleted...

Some context... I am a total layman when it comes to crpyto. Never owned any myself but have no strong feelings either way.

But I have a friend who has essentially turned his whole personality into XRP. He really talks about it with cult-like fervor and seems to 100% genuinely believe that he's going to retire like within the next year when XRP explodes in value (he's in his 20s and works at a restaurant so I find this hard to believe).

He's always talking about how XRP is going to be the new financial standard after the "great reset." I don't think it's an exaggeration to say he truly believes that in near future there will be two distinct financial classes... those who own XRP and live off lending it out to banks or whatever, and those who have none and thus have basically no financial assets of any value anymore.

Sure we've all seen people become millionaires from crypto, but to me he seems totally delusional. I've tried to research Ripple and XRP myself, and I guess it seems just as legit as any other crypto, assuming the lawsuit resolves in its favor. People here don't talk about XRP like he does, so I wondered what the hell was going??

I recently found his secret twitter... and WOW. Really weird and unnerving stuff. His whole world is engaging with these cryptic anonymous accounts called "Riddlers" which basically just post mysterious clues and puzzles which I suppose somehow revealed to him the grand prophecy? It also seems to be connected to QAnon and various other conspiracy theories--also might involve like angels and alternate dimensions??? The rabbit hole goes so deep I can't even begin to understand.

Not to be too alarmist, but I know there's a history of scams in crypto and so I just can't think of any other explanation besides here that these accounts are using manipulative brainwashing tactics to convince people to put their life savings into XRP... presumably so the big holders / original buyers or whatever can sell and essentially steal their money? Is this whole thing just to advantage of gullible / mentally unwell people?? Because if so, it's working.

Here are some twitter accounts for reference:

There was also one called like "Bearableguy123" who I can't find anymore

If you check out the "XRP Schizo" threads on 4chan /biz/ you can get a sense of what I'm talking about as well.

This whole thing just sends a shiver down my spine...
