Can someone explain to me what happens when I use the BSC Network on Binance to tx EHT to my Exodus Wallet?

So I simply click on receive button on the ETH page in my Exodus wallet, copy the address and insert it as the address to withdraw to in my Binance ETH wallet.

Then I choose BSC as the network (way cheaper tx fees then on ESC20).

Can someone tell me what technically happens then? Will my assets end up on the ETH Blockchain and be shown in the Exodus Wallet? Or will they only be put to the BSC and Exodus also registered the same address there and also show it?

I've no idea ...
