Buying bitcoin has been a HUGE pain...

Here is a recap of the last 2 weeks of buying bitcoin:

• I usually use Metal Pay to buy Bitcoin with minimal fees and send over to my wallet. This has been working for months but 2 weeks ago it stopped working. Turns out Chase bank does not allow crypto purchasing with debit cards any longer... This comes from the rep herself a few minutes ago. Credit cards *should* work... did not.

• I tried buying on Kraken but was deterred by the 3 day waiting period. I don't trust my coin there and want to transfer it to a wallet...

• I instead chose Coinbase. No sign of waiting there (may have missed it, so, benefit of that doubt: my fault). Turns out I have to way 10 days...

I'm a crypto noob so I was hoping you guys would offer some tips to avoid all of these issues.
