BTC Bep20 to Trustwallet

Hi, is it possible to send BTC via BEP20 to Trustwallet without losing assets?

I apologize if it's a dumb question, I haven't found a clear explanation and I find it somewhat hard to understand.

I read that I should choose the smart chain option (the one will bnb logo and bep20) as the receiving address, however, I would like to be sure.

For instance, in this example DAI is being referenced.
