General banking insurance can range from $250k in the US but also only £85k for the uk.
People with more money than this… the banks show their vulnerability through events like of which have happened recently….
Suddenly banks are a risky place to hold your money if you have more than the max insurance amount.
I know that all the deposits were covered this time, but can it happen every-time? I doubt it. If I had lots of money I’m sure I’d feel pretty nervous with it all in the bank, especially after recent events.
Where else can people put money in which requires no maintenance work, doesn’t require trusting someone and can be accessed immediately and has mathematics to help ensure its future value.
