I live in a rural area and recently the local gas station started accepting Paypal and Venmo. In context that's a pretty bold move, and I want to go orange pill the owner. As such I would like suggestions on the best method or resource, to convince this guy to add the lightning network to his payment options.
I run a farm stand and the easiest way I found to enable LN payments with a permanently mounted QR without reusing the address was by creating a QR online that led to my Strike wallet's page. It seems like that would work here, I would just have to tell the guy to move his balance to a noncustodial wallet periodically. IF there is another easier and more efficient way, or a site that will walk this guy through the easiest way to use the LN, I'd love to hear it. And keep in mind, anything suggested will have to be simple enough to be used -albeit occasionally- by rural gas station employees. Mountain Dew and lifted Toyota trucks are their element, tech isn't, so it has to match the simplicity of Venmo to be viable.
(And before someone loses their mind and says I'm being elitist, i live one mile down the road from this gas station. My element is cow shit and hay, and I know this has been a steep learning curve for me as well.)
