Why Bitcoin didn't achieve mass adoption almost 15 years after its release? That's a lot of time (and an eternity for the internet). How many more years does it need to grow in terms of users?
I just don't get what people are hoping for. If a startup doesn't get a large userbase in 5 years then it will never do so.
Sure, Bitcoin has users but it's not used as it's supposed to - as a currency. People buy it as a stock. They just hope it will go up in price so they could have some profit.
It's also about Lighting network. Nobody doesn't seem to a give a damn about it. I don't see people using it on a daily basis. It still has a small niche of geeks and enthusiasts.
Bitcoin is not growing in terms of transactions for years. What is worse is that it can't due to the limitations of the tech that hasn't evolved ever since. I don't see it succeed even in another 15 years.
