It might seem like a basic question but just couldn't find the answers anywhere else, as crypto is very complicated for me to understand but I've been trading for couple months now and so far never touched Futures trading, mainly out of fear and also not knowing how it works
So I been trying to educate myself on it, firstly on youtube, which didn't help much as i watched many of the top videos on it, the responses to those videos were always "great video, now i understand everything" which made me feel even more stupid because I didn't understand anymore than before I watched the video lol
I also tried googling it, again I didn't have much luck as the way they explain just doesn't click with me, I get that it's something to do with selling/buying for the future? and also going short or long but i'm not sure what these 2 terms mean in that context either, as well as this many examples given involve either stocks or non crypto related, so I'd like to know how it specifically relates to binance and trading crypto's there
overall ill admit i'm not really tech savvy, so if you can explain the concept to me or know a tutorial/article that might best explain it better, please let me know, thanks
P.s i'm not asking this to start futures trading with my life savings, I just want to learn it out of curiosity and then if i feel comfortable in the future, try it out.
