The insane takes keep on rolling. Here is the founder of Aurora chain (an EVM sidechain for Near) saying Bots will be removed from the network. To protect from DDOS, bots have to go.. What is the point of this "decentralised blockchain network" if the devs can just choose to remove whomsoever they deem fit to remove? Near/Aurora started off claiming they can provide infinite scaling and cheap transactions, but after some usage they are also realizing thats not really true so they have to add fee to transactions and also remove bots so that "legit power users" can transact. If the network isnt decentralised, there is just no point of building it, having people jump through loops if you are eventually going to remove those who you dont like from using the network.
