Today's, this month's, or even this year's price movements don't really matter. I'm looking for returns over the next 50+ years, maybe longer depending on anti-ageing tech.
I got into crypto around mid-last year despite hearing people talk about bitcoin when it first came out. I got into crypto after listening to a 10 or 15 hour Michael Saylor podcast.
My biggest take away was the idea of holding forever because the machanics and economics make sense. Like owning a block of real estate in manhattan, you wouldn't sell in a rough month or year because over the long term it makes economic sense to hold it.
I wanted to make this post for awhile and just want to remind people that this investment doesn't need to be looked at day by day or worried about arbitrary price predictions, bull or bear markets. It's all just noise. If the mechanics and economics make sense, just keep DCA in projects you think will be worth something in 50 years.
Remember, when prices are reduced, so is the risk. But always look long term for these instead of trying to get rich overnight.
