Whenever I see bitcoin mentioned in other subs, it’s usually as a punchline. Especially during the anti-billionaire/anti-capitalist discussions that seem so prevalent on Reddit.
The people that are the most vocally frustrated about the declining power of the dollar, or about how much easier it was for previous generations to buy a home, start a family, etc. seem to be the ones most dismissive of btc - which was designed specifically to combat the machine they are raging against.
Can anyone help me understand why this is?
