An old colleague and friend of mine messaged me yesterday and thanked me for introducing him to reddit and moons in 2021

Cute little IRL crypto friendship story to brighten up your day.

In the spring of 2021 I started working in a corona test center in order to save up some money to finance my upcoming year of studying abroad. A few months earlier I also started to invest into crypto and I quickly became one of the top moon earners which I was for a few months in a row (the cap was at 15k and the ratio anywhere between 0.1 and 0.25).

In the test center I was working with a bunch of great people and all in all it was a lot of fun! I quickly became friendly with a guy working there. We bonded over crypto and the hype was of course big since the bull market was in full force. The job allowed me to be active on reddit as well and so I was always able to participate in this sub. My colleague was super interested in the whole thing after I told him how much moons were worth. At this point I have to see that he really wasn't well educated about crypto but he was a big investor and had quite some money into it. Also his English was not great. Still he wanted to participate in all the hype and of course get some moons. I taught him everything I knew and also recommended him to get the special membership so he could post some gifs (his english was really not great). Over the course of the 4 months that I worked there, he was able to gather around 500 moons and he was super happy about that.

After 4 months I moved away to study and he continued working there. We kinda lost contact but that's how life goes sometimes…

But this weekend he messaged me out of the blue. He must have seen that moons were pumping in his portfolio. He thanked me for introducing him to moons and reddit, although he is not active anymore and asked me how high moons will go in the future. I of course answered with $1, easy.

I think it's rare to bond with people over crypto since its not mainstream yet and most people just think you are stupid. So shout out to Deniz for the great time working together and I hope this story was able to warm your heart just a bit
