Lets have a small throwback to roughly nine years back to the 31st December of 2013, when BTC was actually having its bull market with a peak at $1.2k. This was also about the first time Bitcoin started to become more widely known from some coders or tech enthusiasts. So obviously with more fame also comes more hate and especially in this stage media outlets were just saying anything against crypto. One of that is Bloomberg, just by the end of 2013 just when the bear market seem to have started for BTC and we dropped to $700. In this article they called Bitcoin a high-tech dinosaur and is “soon to be extinct“, which is rather ironic as they are the only dinosaurs here. That article is sadly not really available anymore but the content is pretty predictable, looking at the time it was written. Picture from pete_rizzo_ at Twitter Even more funnily the author of this article has made a recent article about the FTX collapse too, where he compared SBF to Blackbeard the Pirate, this article is all about the history of Bahamas and zero about SBF and FTX itself. Guess some people just never change… But another good lesson on how those media outlets will always come up with bearish articles once a bear market starts, no need to pay any attention to them as always.
