Advantages of Buying Bitcoin from Kraken/Coinbase vs. Robinhood/Fidelity?

Hey everyone,

So I'm finally in a place where I have a little extra to invest. Im reading into various options, and would like to make a small percentage of my invest portfolio crypto currency. After reading up on crypto, I’m trying to understand the advantages of buying Bitcoin from platforms like Kraken and Coinbase compared to purchasing its value on exchanges like Robinhood or Fidelity.

It seems like you'd achieve the same returns with lower expense ratios and potentially lower risk of issues (like being hacked or losing wallet access loss keys, etc) while still reaping the same long-term profits.

Where do you invest in why? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
