A father's day gift

So I tried to put this on another crypto subreddit, but I had no idea there were requirements to make post on them, but I hope you all enjoy it also.

This is my first post on reddit ever. I make many comments here and there, but tonight threw me off and I wanted to share with this community.

My Dad is a really smart guy. He grew up working on go carts with his friends. Which moved on to cars as they got older, and then him working on aircraft in the military so he could go to college and provide for my mom and me.

He has always picked up new tech and been able to just see its potential. I remember us putting our first computer together in the mid 90s and him talking about how big the world wide web was going to be. Unfortunately he had hopes it would not be controlled by big organizations back then. Well we all know how that turned out.

So tonight I was celebrating a belated Father's day with him, and was cooking his steak on the grill when he started asking me what I thought about smart contracts on blockcains. He knows I trade and invest while a substantial amount of my portfolio is in crypto. He and my step mom had obviously been doing some research of their own. I had a hard time keeping up with some of the technical questions they had for me tonight. While I know it's not near on the levels of some out there... I am proud to say my dad and step mom both bought some Etherum tonight, and they both seemed so happy about it.
