’m sure most of us in this sub have heard his name by now. If you haven’t I suggest you read up on his work and the legacy he left behind. He’s a popular pick for the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. He received the first bitcoin transaction from Satoshi himself.
Upon ready his wiki I learned that in his final years he was a victim of swatting in an attempt to extort bitcoin. Sad stuff.
Simply put, the crypto world we know today wouldn’t be what it is without his work and dedication.
