So I have a second device that I dont use which I have my 2fas on....and I have done this for years. I have my crypto exchanges and email all on 2fas.
I tried to transfer crypto from my coinbase account and binance account today and neither of the 2fas work. I was already logged into my coinbase account when I did this. tried to send funds to my bank account and it said the code was wrong. I logged out and tried to log back in and now I cant log in at all because it says the code is wrong.
However my email 2fa still works fine. There have been no attempts to sell/move any of the crypto I have on coinbase. If somebody had changed the 2fa on my coinbase account I would have thought id be logged out of the account when I got on it this morning.
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Is it possible that someone changed those 2fas without having access to my email? My email password was the same - it hadn't been changed and the 2fa worked without any problem even though it was on the same device/app as the other ones.
Not sure what to do at this point
